IS THE AMMO I ORDERED IN STOCK?

Streicher's and streichers.com uniquely offers customers the option to Backorder nearly any out-of-stock item.  Our most popular backordered items since early 2020 has been ammunition.  In the time since early 2020, if you backordered ammunition with Streicher's, you have experienced a minimum of 6 months wait for ammunition to ship.  As of early 2021, wait times for backordered ammunition is expected to be a minimum of 12 months, possibly longer.  See the bottom of this page for where to look for stock status / availability.

 

IS ANY AMMO SHIPPING?
Yes.  Please know that we do receive shipments of ammunition from our manufacturers on a regular basis.  These shipments are often a very small allocation of our own outstanding orders with the manufacturer.  We fulfill backorders of ammunition on a first-in/first-out order basis.  We do not charge your credit card for any backordered items until they ship.  

 

WHEN WILL MY AMMO SHIP?
In today's environment, Streicher's is unable to provide an estimate for when your backordered ammunition may ship.  If you call or email to check on when your ammo order will ship, we are unable to provide any information other than it will be 12+ months from date of order.

Our call center (800-367-3763) is happy to assist with new orders, confirm existing orders, process returns, cancellations, and payment method updates.  Please note that with such extended wait times, some customers' credit cards will expire between the date of order placement and order shipment.  Our call center can assist with updating your payment method.
