Details

The Magpul Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point, also called the ASAP, helps to provide the officer with a range of motion of 180 degrees on the sling attachment point. One of the nice things about the device is that it can be used ambidextrously as the name suggests, so both right-handed and left-handed shooters can use it. By providing such a large range of motion, it reduces the potential for binding from switching shoulders, which can be very important if the officer has to shoot around corners or if they have been injured. The device will work with Single-Point sling’s features for carbines and CAR-15 carbines.

Great Design

Review by Tac Tom

I put this on a personal weapon first before looking at getting it for work. The armorer who put it on says it fit perfectly. The design does not get in the way of weapon manipulation like some single point sling points do and easily allows for moving the weapon from strong to weak side. I was afraid of noise, but with the weight of the weapon, there is not rattle.

MAGPUL ASAP Sling Plate

Review by SGT Troy A. Gre

I received the Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point (ASAP) recently. Before mounting the hardware to my rifle I examined it closely, as we all do with new gear. I have been impressed with all of my MAGPUL products thus far, but I still wanted to give it a once over before mating it to the weapon. The construction of the plate is heavy duty. The link rail is welded to the plate with thick welds and
